Why EVA
Where others offer a single-use device, EVA builds a complete safety experience, hardware, app integration, and real partnership with communities. This isn’t a product you buy once and forget. It’s protection that continues to grow stronger over time.
What happens when I activate EVA?
When you activate EVA, all of your selected emergency contacts instantly receive an SMS with your live location. They’re notified all at once. Not one by one, so you can be sure help is on its way without delay.
How does Eva's alarm work?
To activate EVA, simply pull the handle from the device. This immediately triggers a 130 dB alarm, loud enough to attract attention and deter potential danger. After 10 seconds, your emergency contacts are warned automatically.
The alarm can keep sounding for up to 2 hours, giving you continuous visibility and peace of mind until help arrives.
Do I need to unlock my phone to use EVA?
No. EVA connects to your phone via Bluetooth. When you pull the device, the alert is triggered instantly, no need to unlock your phone or open the app. Your phone just needs to be within Bluetooth range to share your live location and notify your emergency contacts.
Do you donate to any causes?
Yes. A portion of our profits will go to organizations working to prevent harassment and violence and support those affected. We’re currently finalizing the partnerships to make sure we choose the ones that create the most real impact. We’ll share the official announcement soon.
How loud is the EVA alarm?
EVA produces a 130 dB siren, similar to a jet engine from close range. It is intentionally loud to shock, distract, and draw immediate attention.
When should I use EVA?
EVA is only meant to be used in situations where you feel unsafe or in immediate danger. It is not a substitute for calling emergency services, it is an additional tool to get attention and notify people quickly.
Why use the EVA app?
The EVA device works on its own, but the EVA app adds an extra layer of safety.
With the app you can:

• Trigger automatic alerts when EVA is activated
• Customize who gets notified and how
• Track your journey home with optional check-in features

When will the EVA app be available?
The EVA app is currently in development and will be released approximately 8 weeks after our launch date. Once available, you’ll be able to activate alerts, manage emergency contacts, and access additional safety features directly in the app. We’ll notify all customers by email as soon as the app goes live.
Who is EVA made for?
EVA is designed for anyone who sometimes travels, walks, trains, studies, or works alone, especially during late hours or unfamiliar environments.
Is EVA waterproof?
EVA is splash-resistant (rain / bag / normal daily use). It should not be submerged in water or used while swimming.
How long does the battery last?
EVA is rechargeable via USB-C and lasts several weeks on normal use. The app notifies you when battery is low.
What is the Bluetooth range?
Typically 10–15 meters depending on your surroundings.
If your phone goes out of range, the alarm still sounds, but location alerts may not send until Bluetooth reconnects.
Shipping and Delivery
What is the return policy?
You can return your EVA within 14 days of receiving your order, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. Contact us at info@eva-alert.com to start a return.
Where are your products manufactured?
EVA devices are produced by a certified manufacturing partner and finished/quality-checked before being shipped to you.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and vary based on destination. Some partner promotions include free or discounted shipping.
Warranties
How do I request a warranty replacement?
Email us at info@eva-alert.com with your order number + a short explanation (photos or video help!). We’ll assist from there.
Do I need proof of purchase?
Yes, a confirmation email, receipt, or order number is enough.
What is covered by the warranty?
Any defects related to materials or manufacturing. If something is wrong with your device that isn’t caused by wear, damage, or misuse, we’ll replace it.
