Set up your EVA
for Android

Follow the quick steps below to finish setting up your EVA device.

Setup your EVA

On this setup guide page find all the steps needed to setup your EVA completely.

1. Setup Bluetooth Connection. In 3 quick steps connect your phone with your EVA.

2. Setup your SOS settings. Press the side button five times and a countdown begins to call emergency services.

3. Add emergency contacts. Select a contact from your list and add them as emergency contacts.

Step 1

Setup Bluetooth Connection

1. Go to your phone’s settings and enable Bluetooth.

Open your phone’s settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

2. Make EVA visible

Press and hold the side button on your EVA until you hear a beep. EVA is now ready to connect.

3. Connect to EVA in your Bluetooth list

In your phone’s Bluetooth list, look for “SOS Personal Alarm” and tap to connect.

Setup SOS settings

1. Open the Settings app

Go to your Android's Home screen and open Settings.

2. Tap “Emergency SOS”

Scroll down and select Safety & Emergency (this may vary slightly by Android brand, e.g. on Samsung it may be under "Advanced Features > Send SOS Messages").

3. Connect to EVA in your Bluetooth list

Switch on the Emergency SOS option. Your phone will now call emergency services when triggered.

Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
Tap Safety & Emergency (or search ‘Emergency contacts’ in Settings).
Tap Emergency contacts.
Select a contact from your list.
Repeat to add additional emergency contacts.
Tap Save to confirm.

How EVA works.

Works whenever EVA is connected to your phone via Bluetooth. EVA uses the local emergency number wherever you are.

It connects over Bluetooth. Activate EVA and it signals your phone instantly, no app to open.

Your phone calls for help. The SOS function alerts your emergency contacts automatically.

Your location is shared. Contacts get a live location link, updated continuously.
